How to install NTR CFW 3.0 with sky3ds for cheat function?

Previously we have introduced to you how to install NTR CFW2.0 with sky3ds on NEW 3DS9.0-9.2. The NTR CFW has the function of region free and cheat. Now there is a new update-NTR CFW3.0 released and we will show you how to install it on sky3ds and enjoy the cheat function

1.Please download”NTR CFW3.0.zip” and extract it. Then copy”BootNTR.cia” and”ntr.bin” to the root of your 3DS Micro SD card;
2. Install Pasta CFW1.3 with the totorial: Pasta CFW 1.3(beta4)- SKY3DS can support Fire Emblem If – Anya Oukoku/Awakening
3. When you have installed the Pasta CFW1.3, the homebrew will load by itself. Install the “BootNTR.cia” in Devmenu
4. When complete the installation, exit from the Devmenu. And then click the new icon”BootNTR”, it will install NTR 3.0 automatically;
5. When done, press home button to return to the menu interface. There will NTR3.0 menu as pictures when you press X+Y, which means you have installed the NTR CFW3.0 successfully.
How to enjoy cheat function of NTR CFW3.0？

1. Create a folder named”plugin” in root of your 3DS Micro SD card, and then get the game ID from http://3dsdb.com/.  Please download the ”cheat.plg“ compatible with the game ID from http://www.speedfly.cn/category/game/nintendo/3ds_cheat.
Then create a folder names”game id” in “plugin”, then copy ”cheat.plg“ to “game id”. So there should be a folder”plugin/game id/cheat.plg”
2. Insert the micro sd card to your 3DS console and bootup your 3DS.(Every time you turn off/on your 3ds console, you need to go to pasta CFW and then install NTR CFW3.0 again).

3. For the example of Fire Emblem If Special Edition, install the cia files of Fire Emblem If Special Edition in Devmenu. After done, there will be a game icon showing.

4. Click the game icon, there should be a green screen flashed which means you can enjoy the cheat function during games.

The new software-Ninjhax 2.0 released,  which can support homebrew applications such as games, tools and emulators! What’s more , ninjhax 2.0 allows you to run many out-of-region gamecards, as well as use custom themes on your console.  It is excited that is can works on the latest firmware9.9.0-26

Requirements of using Ninjhax 2.0

A 3DS console（V9.0-9.9）
A 3DS sd card

Tutorial

1. Go to the page http://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/ and enter your 3DS console version, click “update QR code ” and there will be a QR code generated which is compatible with your 3DS.

2. Download “homebrew starter kit” and extract all the files to the rood your 3DS sd card.

3.Turn on your 3DS wifi and connect to the internet.
4.Insert the sky3ds with Cubic Ninja ROM burnt to your 3DS console, bootup your 3DS.
5.Run Cubic Ninja →EDIT→QR Code →QR Code の読取
( When scanning the code, make sure you fill up as much of your 3DS’s screen with the QR code. You may need several times to make it.)

6. After scanning, there will be a notice”instal the exploit to your savegame?” Press A to install it.

7.The homebrew launcher will load.

FAQ

1. ninjhax won’t run anymore ! I updated my console after installing ninjhax and I can’t access the homebrew launcher anymore. What do I do ?
In this case, all you need to do is clear CUBIC NINJA’s savegame and install the exploit again. To do so, enter CUBIC NINJA’s main menu and hold L+R+X+Y; after a few seconds, a menu will show up asking whether you’d like to clear your savegame. Do it, grab the QR code for your new firmware version and you should be good to go!

2. ninjhax won’t run at all ! I’m getting a red screen after a bunch of text shows up. What’s going on ?
This happens when you don’t have a boot.3dsx file at the root of your SD card. Please follow the install instructions and try again.

3. ninjhax won’t run at all for some other reason ! What am I doing wrong ?
This most likely means you are using the wrong QR code for your console/firmware version. Please double check that you are using the correct version.

4. Can ninjhax be uninstalled ?
Yes. Go to CUBIC NINJA’s main menu, hold L+R+X+Y and follow instructions. This will also erase your savegame. There is currently no way to uninstall ninjhax without losing your Cubic Ninja savegame because it seems noone cares enough about their Cubic Ninja savegame to make one.

5. Does this allow region free ?
It totally does and it’s pretty rad. For more information on the region free feature, please visit regionFOUR’s README page, as the exact same limitations currently apply.

6. Does this let me run roms ?
No. ninjhax is a user mode exploit, meaning that we do not have full control over the console, and therefore cannot run pirated software. That being said, we have the same amount of access as regular apps and games to the console’s hardware, and so we can make some kickass homebrew!

We have introduced that SKY3DS can play cia games with Pasta CFW on NEW/OLD 3DS 4.1-9.2 and we have tested with Pasta CFW to play cia gameson our 3DS console.

Now there is a new update of Pasta CFW-Pasta CFW 1.3(beta4), and the changelog is the following:

Step 1, Please download pasta cfw1.3.zip and unzip all all the filee to the root of your 3DS Micro SD card. Insert sky3ds with Cubic Ninja in Micro SD card to your3DS console.
Step 2, Bootup”PastaCFW Configurator” , select your 3DS model and disk. And then click Download button to write data.
When the writing finished, the following pictures will show.
Step 3,  Bootup your 3DS console and wifi, bootup Cubic Ninja→EDIT→QR Code →read QR Code( go to http://smealum.net/ninjhax and enter your 3ds console version, ther will be a QR code for you.)
Agter scanning, the homebrew launcher(Pasta CFW loader andFBI) will appear.
Step 4, Bootup Pasta CFW loader, and it will be back to 3DS console menu interface. Run Cubic Ninja→EDIT→QR Code →read QR Code again;
Press L+A to run Pasta CFW loader, the Pasta CFW menu will appear as the following. You can make a backup of your 3DS console data.

Step 5, Bootup “Give me some pasta” in Pasta CFW menu and will back to homebrew. Bootup FBI and then install “BigBlueMenu.cia”go to the Pasta CFW menu again as step 4 and then Select “options” -Enable FirmLaunch(Chane to yes by left/right buttons)-A(save)
Step 6, The  homebrew will load by itself and there will be a gift box appearing.
Click the gift box and install the cia file of Fire Emblem If – Anya Oukoku. When done, there will be games icon.
Step 7, Now you can Fire Emblem If – Anya Oukoku.

By the way,  we tested this tool with NEW3DS9.1. And now the Fire Emblem If – Anya Oukoku which need to be played on N/O3DS 9.7 above can be played on NEW3DS V9.1. You can also play Fire Emblem If – Awakening freely in the same way.

Noting: When you failed to install the “BigBlueMenu.cia” and make a title.db file in your “Nintendo 3DS/id1/id2/dbs” folder, insert the Micro sd card to 3DS console. Setting-software management setting-NINTENDO3DS data management-software management setting-initialization
Now, you can install “BigBlueMenu.cia” as step5.
