Does Mario Sports Superstars work with sky3ds+?

Mario Sports Superstars is a sports video game published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS and has been released worldwide in March 2017. There are three regions available for Mario Sports Superstars: US/EUR/JPN. For sky3ds+ card users, you might want to know if Mario Sports Superstars works with sky3ds+?

Mario Sports Superstars contains five sports minigames, soccer, baseball, tennis, golf, and horse racing. Each individual sport contains single player tournaments, local multiplayer, and online multiplayer game modes.

We download the .3ds ROM of Mario Sports Superstars. The capacity of ROM is about 1GB and you can copy your microSD card directly. Tested with SKY3DS+V130 on 3DSv11.3.0-36E, Mario Sports Superstars works great without any problem.

Requirement:
One N3DS/O3DS/2DS 9.0-11.2
One SD card compatible with your 3DS
One Cubic Ninja ROM
One SKY3DS+

1. Download homebrew starter kit and extract it. Copy all files to the root directory of your 3DS SD card. Insert SD card to 3DS console.
2. Go to http://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/ and select the firmware version of your console. Click”Update QR code” and QR code picture will show as below.
3. Copy Rom of Cubic Ninja ROM to microSD card and insert microSD card to sky3ds+. Plug sky3ds+ to your 3DS. Boot up your 3DS and turn on your wifi.

4. Select Cubic Ninja icon and press A, select Create→ QR code→ Scan QR code
Tips: 1. There are 16 QR codes and you need to scan them one by one.
2. If your 3DS is 10.0.10.1 or 10.2, there will be 16 QR codes to be scanned;
If your 3DS firmware version is 9.0-9.9, you only need to sacn one QR code.

5. Scan the first QR code. You’ll know the QR code has scanned once the text disappears from the bottom screen and the camera view freezes.
6. Click the Next link above to show the following QR code, then B on your console to return to the scanning menu. Press A to scan the new QR code.
7. Repeat the above steps until you’ve scanned ALL QR codes.
8. Once you’ve scanned the 16 QR codes in order, return to the game’s main menu. From there, go into Edit, then QR code. The exploit should run !

9. If the exploit doesn’t run, it should mean you missed one of the codes. In order to attempt the install again, please clear your savegame (see FAQ below) and try again.

SKY3DS+ can support Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 directly.

Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3comes out on March 24th and sky3ds+ can work well with this new 3ds games. Some users met some problem when using sky3ds+ to play this game, and there are .bad file created. This should be caused by rom issue but not sky3ds+ card.

SKY3DS+ firmware V112 released, one private header shared for all oneline games.

Great news! SKY3DS+ newest firmware updated-V112. For users who want to play 3ds online games, it is really an exciting news. This update addes one new line in settings.txt file: “DEFAULT_GAMESAVE_KEY=” which to set your own private header shared for all online games. In other words, you can play many 3ds games online if you own one private header from the geniune gamecard through thin line, which means many 3ds games can use one private header to play online games.

Change logs:
1.Tiny bugs fixed.
2.Added the “DEFAULT_GAMESAVE_KEY=” in settings.txt file, to set your own private header shared for all online games play.

*Note: You don’t have to udpate this firmware for your sky3DS+ if you don’t need this feature.

We used a Monster Hunter X public header as example and tell you how to use this new function:

1. Download sky3ds+ firmware V112 from sky3ds+ official site and then copy the files to the root directory of your microSD card.
2. Connect your sky3ds(microSD card inserted)+ and your PC with USB cable
3. The LED red light will turn on for 10 seconds, then turn to the green light and keep flashing for 10 seconds, once the light turn off it means the sky3DS+ has been updated successfully.
Alert: Never unplug the USB cable while the green light keep flashing, it might damage your sky3DS+ card!
4. Delete the firmware.bin file in your microSD card.
5. Open your settings.txt file in your microSD card.

① If there is no CREATE_PER_GAME_SETTINGS = 1(default 0, can change it anytime later) in the file, please add this line and then save it.
② If this line exits, set “DEFAULT_GAMESAVE_KEY=6C126FD17B1CB63EA00BA94525E0124C”( The number should be your own private header0 and save it. If there has some .CFG files for games which you want to play online in the following steps, please delete these .CFG files .

The header we used in the picture is a public header for MHX, please do not use it on your console for the risk of being banned.

③ insert sky3ds+ with microSD card to 3DS console, start 3ds console and run each games.Each .CFG file for there games will be created in your microSD card. Then you will find that this line “GAMESAVE_KEY=6C126FD17B1CB63EA00BA94525E0124C” in every .CFG file.

④ Now you enjoy playing 3ds online games with sky3ds+.
